must have been around 2010 or 2011 when i found your book in the Lasqueti Island Free store (actually not at all far just across the waters from Parksville, BC where u had passed with the Graham at some oldtimer show some years b4), just as i was preparing 2drive my 1985 (s)C(h)OOLbus the "Åland Arrow" across Canada to Halifax to have it shipped to Sweden to be with Åsa and her three children (Åsa's grandfather was a sailing captain in the late 20s and early 30s on the Herzogin Cecilie, the flag ship of the Gustav Eriksson Company and had on one occasion, while sailing 5000 tons of wheat from Australia round the Horn to England, fallen in love with one of his passengers, later Åsa's grandma :-), a british South African Journalist, Europe bound) who i'd met a couple years prior on the Åland Islands, as my 4 month bike trip from Switzerland via Slovakia to Finland arrived at it's northernmost point. Whether to do this bus2Europe adventure or not at all loomed in the air big time, but also thanks to your fantastically inspiring book, it seemed like it would be possible. I have since admired your families progress, and your ability to always attract the funds and fortune for all your (ocean) voyages and beyond, and i use u as my shining example when telling people about the power of manifestation, hahaha, but i had to pay full price to ship my beast to Gothenburg Sweden, but of course i had the money, so u could say i was also helped by the universe, just in different pathways. and it was so worth it!!!!!!

SO fortunate!!! i live in the Åland Islands now in my own old house from 1878 with the bus serving as adventure vehicle during the summers or on location as a cool place to stay in while visiting me as a wwoofer or friend, or a member of warmshowers.org bike travelling community. Too bad you didn't pass by here on these beautiful islands, I had sent you an invition via your website, but perhaps you never got it, or was to late already. By contributing i wish to show my support to people fulfilling their dreams and you yours. You are beacons of light in this world and you know it! the journey is not over. For the Åland Arrow it is Ulan Bataar next!!! Aporte un pequeño granito de arena por uds que me aportaron un millon de ellos , los conoci en Pinamar hace muchos años y despues compre el Libro que resulto ser una Biblia para mi , les compre cinco libros mas que les regale a mis hijos y a dos amigos. Siempre loa segui por donde andaban y cada vez me.sorprendieron mas , cuantas enseñanzas nos dieron . Dear Family, we met shortly at the habour in Denmark where we were with our sailing boat and we invited you in Holland. We did not manage a date unfortunately but of course we as sailers will support your trip! Eric and Pietie and kids. Love to talk to you again!
